The Palm Beach County Food Bank is committed to being a strong leader for the other stakeholders and organizations that join us in addressing the issues surrounding hunger in Palm Beach County. They are focused on fighting hunger in Palm Beach County through 4 programs – Partner Marketplace, Nutrition Driven, Benefits Outreach, and our Childhood Hunger Initiatives. Palm Beach County Food Bank supports close to 200 partner agencies in Palm Beach County with food, programs, resources and services.

2024-2025 United Way Funded Programs

Childhood Hunger Initiatives addresses the needs of Palm Beach County children who do not consistently have enough food to eat to live healthy, active lives by distributing bags of nourishing weekend food every week for 50 weeks to food-insecure children living in low-income communities (cost per unit of service = 1 bag/child x 50 weeks).

Groceries for Seniors addresses the food needs of Palm Beach County seniors (60 and older), who cannot consistently access enough nourishing food to stay healthy and active, by distributing free bags of nutritional, self-stable food, healthy recipe cards, and related community resources every other week throughout the year to supplement seniors' dietary needs. (cost per unit of service = 1 bag/person 26 times a year)
