Within two weeks of launching each emergency fund for those affected by the coronavirus pandemic, the Town of Palm Beach United Way has raised $400,000 while the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties has raised over $1 million for the cause.
The Town of Palm Beach United Way’s COVID-19 Emergency Fund assists residents with short-term needs such as food and health care, and long-term needs resulting from unexpected layoffs and loss of income.
